Firstly, I’d like to say, that I like active rest, because it is a more interesting leisure than a passive spare time, I think. I prefer sport, because it gives pleasure. But there are kinds of sport, which I don’t like, because they are really brutal, as wrestling, boxing, etc. In winter I do exercise. But in summer I try to spend much time in nature, so I like swimming and to cycling very much. I like to travel on holidays too. In my opinion, summer is the best time for travelling. Of course, I sometimes choose passive occupations, because I want to be at rest, when I am tired or it is bad weather and I can’t be out.

   Secondly, I’d like to say that I like films, but it isn’t my favourite past time. I like action, horror, war films and comedies, sometimes I’m borne away with documentaries, but I hate science fiction. I usually watch the films on TV or computer, but sometimes I go to the cinema with my friends. Of course to watch film at home is cheaper than in the cinema, but to watch film in the cinema is more pleasing than to watch it at home, I think, because in cinema there are the big screen and a good sound, but sometimes there can be one bad thing, it is title. But I think, there are no problems, if you can read well. Of course if you often went to the cinema, you would sicken of it. A short time ago I watched a comedy “Freaky Friday”. It is based on the book by Mary Rodgers. This comedy is about the mother and the daughter, who were angry with each other, but one morning they woke up in each other bodies. Janie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan played the main roles in this film directed by Mark Waters.

   Thirdly, I’d like to say that music is a part of my life. As most people I like to listen to music. I haven’t my favorite band or singer, because I like very different music. If I like the song, it isn’t important who sings it. When I have enough time I play the piano and the guitar. I began to play with a tutors’ aid, but now I learn to play interesting pieces of music myself.

   Further, I’d like to tell you about the press and the books in my life. Reading isn’t my favorite pastime, because I need to read the books for my studies mostly, and they don’t give so much pleasure. But sometimes I spend time with a book. I’m keen on love and adventure stories, because they are the realest. I haven’t my favourite writer, because I think that one man can’t create a lot of great writings. I like foreign writers’ creation. I read a book “Janey’s Girl” by Gayle Friesen. I like it very much. It is about a teenager who doesn’t know a lot of things about herself. But one summer she comes to her grandmother and there this girl gets to know important things about herself. I’d like to say, that press is important in my life. We subscribe to the “BBS news”. I read it every Saturday, because there are the most important news. “Life” is my favorite magazine, because there are many interesting articles about people’s life. If I want more to know about any event, I read the items about it in internet.

   Finally, I’d like to say, that I don’t like exhibitions, museums and galleries, because I find them boring. But there can be exceptions. I visited many museums in Lithuania. I usually visit them with my family, because my father likes them very much, or with my friends, when we take a sightseeing. I think that exhibitions, museums and galleries are good places in order to learn history and art. In school an art is a compulsory education to 10 form. In 11 and 12 forms you can choose art or music lessons. This lesson is one time a week. I like art, because I have good ideas, but I can’t draw well, so in 11 form I chose music.

   I’d like to conclude by saying that I like to spend time with my friends. I think that leisure is good, when there are many entertainments and good friends.
