    Nowadays the central problem concerning individual‘s privacy is the unwarranted intrusion into one‘s life - the point that paparazzi and media should be blamed for. Commonly the intrusion is claimed when privacy is invaded by someone who intentionally intrudes, physically or otherwise, upon a person's solitude or into his private area or affairs. Such invasion is frequently seen in everyday life, especially when the life of celebrity is related. It seems there is nothing that our popular press will not do to win the circulation war. Due to this, famous people are hounded through the streets, the paparazzi lurk behind bushes or break into private residences and what is more – the celebrities and their children are stalked as they go about in their everyday lives. As a consequence of  journalist‘s misbehavior when one‘s private life is offered up to the public gaze, various negative effects on individual appear. 

    The effects of the media‘s intrusion into one‘s private life almost never remain unnoticed. First of all, it is the disturbance of individual privacy. It  seems that one cannot have a private life, because he\she is watched in his\her own home, like an animal in the zoo. Secondly, people feel continual pressure for such a state. They cannot live their everyday life without thinking about their behavior, appearance and of course about their security. What is more, an individual continually feel threat for possible untrue claims about his\her private life, because it is not a secret that the articles are just the interpretation of the reality,and that the facts about celebrities are almost always colored by journalist‘s imagination and it should not be so. Fortunately, there are many ways in which we can solve these previously mentioned problems.

 To avoid the unpardonable intrusion into privacy and the consequences that may be caused to an individual, the prevention should be started. One of the solutions – to take tabloid newspapers or sensational magazines to court. However, there is a drawback that just wealthy people can sue and others could only look for support. The most obvious solution could be the development of a privacy law, which could decide the boundary what is right and what is wrong to investigate and to publish. What is more, there should be some particular institution which could make the paparazzi‘s to apologize. It should be a public apology in the same popular newspaper and the same place where the person‘s life was libeled.

    Taking everything into consideration, I would like to say that prevention from this unwarranted intrusion into people‘s life is obligatory. As we need the air to breathe, the water to drink in order to stay alive, people to communicate, we also desperately need our personal privacy, which is unique. And if we do not take immediate actions to prevent this intrusion, more and more often we would feel the loss of freedom, insecurity, solicitude which we would face if our privacy were taken from us. And it is our future as we allow an ever-intrusive eye into our personal, private lives. Because we are the masters of our lives, we should take an immediate decision to defend and safeguard what is the most precious to us.
